§1 Who qualifies for participation?
All regularly registered users of bwin or the company which operates the previously named website (hereafter called "referrers") are entitled to participate in the Friendship Bonus programme.
A regularly registered user is a person who registered him/herself once and properly pursuant to the general terms and conditions of the company.
§2 Who may be referred?
Every participant may refer his/her friends and acquaintances. Close relatives of the referrer (parents, siblings, children), persons living in the same household as the referrer, and persons giving the same e-mail address as the referrer or using the same credit card as the referrer will NOT be accepted as new customers.
Note: Within the scope of the Friendship Bonus programme, e-mails may only be sent to persons whom the referrer knows personally ("prohibition of spamming").
§3 How is someone referred?
Under Friendship Bonus in their accounts, every referrer has the opportunity to send an e-mail with a personal message as well as a text provided on the website to his/her friends and acquaintances. This e-mail includes a link. The potential new customer has to click on this link, agree to the conditions of participation of the Friendship Bonus programme and register as a new customer by completing the registration form found at bwin.
If the friend does not click on the link in the e-mail, then s/he will not be considered for the Friendship Bonus programme and the referrer will not get a bonus for this friend.
§4 Definition of "new customer"
Within the scope of the Friendship Bonus programme, a new customer is a customer who registers him/herself, within the promotional period mentioned above, for the first time at bwin upon a referrer's invitation AND pays at least EUR 10 into his/her account AND places bets amounting to at least EUR 30.
By taking part in the Friendship Bonus programme, the new customer agrees that the referrer is informed about the registration as well as the deposit and placement of the minimum bet of the new customer, enabling the referrer to inform him/herself about his/her success in the Friendship Bonus programme.
§5 Prerequisites for receiving the bonus
a) Referrer
The referrer will receive a bonus to the value of EUR 10 for every referred new customer (see §4 for definition) as soon as his/her friend wagers at least EUR 30 on one or more bets. The bonus will be approved within a maximum of 36 hours, as soon as the respective new customer has fulfilled the particular criteria stipulated for the reception of the bonus (see §4, definition of a new customer).
b) New customer
The new customer will receive a special EUR 10 bonus on a first deposit of at least EUR 10. If the first depost is lower than the minimum requirement of EUR 10, then the user will not qualify for the bonus. The new customer can claim this bonus only once and is not eligible for any other possible bonus offers.
c) Definition of bonus
Both the referrer's bonus and the bonus for the new customer are to be considered as FreeBet bonuses and are subject to the following conditions:
The bonus has to be wagered at least 3 times on one or more sports bets exclusively at bwin within two months from the date it was credited before a payout of the bonus is allowed. Please note that you are not allowed to transfer marketing bonuses to another bwin product (Supertoto, Poker, Games, Casino).
§6 Main Friends Prize 2006
The referrer will automatically take part in the “Main Friends Prize” competition.
All referrers who refer at least three new customers (see definition in §4) within the promotional period, will participate in a lucky draw in which the Main Friends Prize 2006 can be won. Participation in this competition will occur automatically after the referrer fulfils the respective competition terms and conditions.
All new customers (see definition in §4) referred by a regular and correctly registered user within the promotional period (from 09h00 GMT+1 on the first day of the programme, to 23h59 GMT+1 on and including 31/12/2006) will be taken into account. The competition winner will be drawn at the beginning of 2007. The winner will be notified via e-mail. All rights are reserved.
The competition runs up until 23h59 GMT+1 on 31/12/2006.
§7 Final Provisions
The company points out that the statement of incorrect data and/or misrepresentation is prohibited and will be reported to and prosecuted by the appropriate authorities and courts.
By accepting participating in the Friendship Bonus programme the referrer also agrees that if s/he wins the bonus s/he allow his/her user ID to be used for promotional purposes.
Referrers and new customers have to settle their legal relationship exclusively among themselves. The company does not accept liability in case of unauthorized passing on of a new customer's name and e-mail address.
The company reserves the right to change or cancel the Friendship Bonus programme at any time without prior notice.
Claims for damages raised by customers against the company and/or its vicarious agents (e.g. for system breakdowns, defects, delay, manipulated or improper data transmission) are excluded unless they are based on intentional or gross negligence. If the customer is a consumer as defined by the Konsumentenschutzgesetz (KSchG; Consumer Protection Act) with his/her habitual residence or place of employment in Austria, the disclaimer of liability only applies to slight negligence.
Unless stated otherwise in these conditions of participation, the Terms and Conditions of the company are applicable both to the Friendship Bonus programme and the subsequent bets placed.
Employees of the company as well as their relatives, friends and acquaintances are excluded from taking part in the Friendship Bonus programme.
